Mortensaften / Martinmas eve

We’ve added new ingredients to an old Danish tradition and opened the doors to an evening centred around taste, cosiness, and great atmosphere.

Welcome to the celebration of Mortensaften/Martinmas Eve at Stella Maris.

There are many legends about exactly where the tradition of eating duck or goose on the eve of St Martins Day comes from, but today it’s that the evening is about being in the moment with family and friends – and good food.

On 10th November at 6 pm we present a menu of the season’s very best ingredients, of course with carefully paired wines. A perfect setting to experience our cosy restaurant, while the late autumn dark envelopes everything outside.
