Yes – on our lower floor we have a fitness room with an exercise bike, a rowing machine as well as various dumbbells, and a pulley machine.
There are no ATMs at Stella Maris, but the reception is happy to help show you the way to the nearest bank.
Svendborg Sound is located at the end of our grounds, and from the bathing bridge, you can enjoy a refreshing dip. In our Suites, you will also find a delightful jacuzzi.
We offer accessible rooms in our new building. The rooms are located either on the ground floor or on the 1st floor and are accessed without stairs. We have provided extra space around the bed and a bathroom without a bath.

Extra beds are possible in most of our Superior Double Rooms and all our Deluxe Double Rooms – some of our Deluxe Doubles can even have two beds.
All our double beds measure 180 centimeters across, and our single beds measure 90 centimeters.
We can open the connecting door between two of our rooms and thus form one large room as needed. Contact reception to learn more about this option and check availability.
Yes, in several of our Superior Double Rooms and Deluxe Double Rooms we can separate the beds so that you have two single beds. Contact reception to hear more about the possibilities.
It is free for children under 3 years old to stay in existing beds, while a cot can be rented for DKK 250 per child. night. Children between 3 and 12 years old can stay in the room either in an existing bed or on an extra bed. Please ask for a price.
We take into account all types of allergies and requests for special diets. We even have a fixed vegetarian menu. Please inform the staff in advance if there are any other special considerations, we need to take in account with your restaurant visit.
Of course! We always find a good solution so that your child can also get something to eat in the restaurant – no matter how picky they are. Please state any wishes for the child’s menu when booking.

Yes! We staff the reception desk around the clock, so you can always talk to an employee.
You can check in at Stella Maris from 3 pm onwards. The reception is staffed 24 hours a day and closes only a few days a year. You must check out of the room before 11 am.
Yes – both the reception and the restaurant accept cash. You can also pay via MobilePay or credit card.
Our breakfast is included in the overnight stay and cannot be deducted from the room rate – but it is of course up to you if you want to take advantage of the offer.
Stella Maris is a 100% non-smoking hotel and therefore smoking is not allowed indoors. You can smoke outdoors.
It is possible to bring pets to some of our Superior Double Rooms for DKK 300 per pet, per night. Contact reception to hear more and check the availability of our pet-friendly rooms.
Svendborg Station is 2.7 kilometers away. It takes about 40 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel. We are happy to help you order a taxi for you. There are also city buses from the station to the hotel approximately every half hour between 6 am and 6 pm on weekdays and between 7 am and 2 pm on weekends.
It is approximately 3 kilometers from the hotel to Svendborg city centre.
There is free parking in the hotel’s parking area.
We have four Clever charging stations at Stella Maris. If you already have a subscription with Clever, you just leave as you usually do. If you do not have a subscription, you can charge via the Clever app.
